Unhelpful and expensive.

Maybe this firm is useful for millionaires getting divorced but if you're a 'regular/average' person, they're useless.
In our experience, we had one short expensive consultation which left us feeling defeated as we were passed on to another partner who may be able to help us draft a letter, but that wasn't available when we needed.
After having a consultation with another lawyer (who gave us many options and paths to deal with our situation) we felt MUCH BETTER and realized we wouldn't need to go forward with this firm, and considering the amount of practical and legal advice we got from another lawyer, we felt like Gary and his team had no idea what they were talking about.

Upon informing them we wouldn't be retaining them, the remaining amount of our (consultation) retainer was magically used up by the emails they had sent back to us when we were looking for more information about moving forward with them earlier prior to our other consultation.

Amazing. Crooked. Unhelpful.

Used Mr Strangerone for a family law matter. Service can best be described as SLOW and inefficient. Inflated costs and slow to react . Took 5 times too long and only average performance when it mattered. Had more success repersenting myself. Best advice to stay clear. Clients best interest was never a priority

Our moderately easy request took 8 months to complete. Even though what we needed done should be reasonably done within 3 months. This is most likely due to the fact that we were not a big ticket client. Since we weren’t a client bringing in 6 or 7 figures worth of business, our file was pushed aside and wasn’t made a priority. Since we weren’t a high value client, we were treated like second class citizens of the firm. Do yourself a favour, if your job isn’t worth a lot of money, then go with a firm who prioritizes customer service and client experience. Mac Donald and partners was a very disappointing experience.
