We had an extremely disappointing experience with Key Partners Property Management Group. Their communication was consistently unprofessional, often leaving us in the dark about important matters regarding our rental property. When we did receive responses, they were frequently misleading or outright dishonest, making it incredibly difficult to trust their management.

Beyond the lack of transparency, their overall attitude towards us as property owners was dismissive and uncooperative. Instead of working collaboratively to resolve issues, we were met with defensiveness and condescension. Their unwillingness to take responsibility for mistakes only added to our frustration.

Property management should be about reliability, integrity, and professionalism—unfortunately, Key Partners fell short in every aspect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution before entrusting them with your property.

KPPM has been exceptional and extremely responsive for the entire time we rented a house with them. We had minimal issues come up, but when we did they responded extremely quickly, professionally and made sure we were taken care of. We appreciated that we could rely on them all year long for whatever questions and needs we had!

My family has been working with Key Partners for the last several years to manage our property in Leawood. Leslie and her team have been nothing short of spectacular. Extremely professional in every aspect & very well-knowledged. Since listing with them over 5 years ago, our property has never been vacant. They have always found high quality tenants for us, with no turn-over time between. Would highly recommend Key Partners to anyone looking for property management in the Kansas City area.

i do NOT recommend renting from these "people" more like bots behind a screen. There is no way to contact them, not a phone number or even an office, other than email which could take anywhere from 24 hours to 72 hours to respond if over the weekend. We had put in multiple work orders to fix our dishwasher and they didnt send anyone over the course of 4-5 months. When it came to the end of our lease they told us WE had to show off the apartment, we told them our availability for the showings and they continued to schedule outside of said availability and threaten to evict if we didn't do the showing. Also, they dont take responsibility for not showing the apartment to potential tenants but instead use the previous tentants as scapegoats to make us look bad. If i could give this place a 0 i would. Also, not shame on your tenants for calling you out, shame on YOU for not taking responsibility like a decent human being would. They also like to write nasty hateful replies on their google reviews and when called out about it they edit what they said previously only adding to my statement that these brain dead Neanderthals are literal children behind a screen with no sense of responsibility. Gotta keep that good image ig, but tbh we all know youre terrible people so whats the point 😉

I never felt like a bother or met with anything less than quick and professional communication with Key Partners when it came to renting our house. Wish I could say the same about the owner at times, but they acted as a wonderful buffer and helped us out every time we needed them!

Having been a tenant of Key Partners Property Management for greater than 2 years, I know first hand that quality and care are a priority. My girls and I have always been met with respect, and compassion. Any issues (maintenance, yard, etc) were resolved quickly and with open communication from Key Partners.
Most recently, there was a personal issue requiring the locks to be changed, for the safety of my Girls and I . Tom, Jo, Becca, and the rest of the team understood the urgency, and less than 24 hours later, I had new keys, new locks, and peace of mind that my girls and I needed. I can’t sing their praises enough. When you are dealing with this company, you are working with people who genuinely care about the well-being of their tenants .

Not even worth following through with their application process. This company is totally unreachable by phone, and insist on having one sentence at a time email correspondence that turns what would be a 5 minute phone call into a 2 day hassle. No exaggeration, I have a 27 email thread with them, that at NO POINT actually addressed my questions or requests. These people are professional time wasters.

It seems to be staffed by adolescents, I received multiple emails with emojis and other unprofessional and dismissive language (including elipses to indicate confusion - are we in high school? Or did they get their training through Instagram University . . . )

After two days of them wasting my time, I'm done trying to communicate like an adult with them. If you find a house you like that's managed by Key Partners, I hope you don't mind never speaking to a human being representing the property, and I hope you can handle maintenance requests yourself.
